What type of grind should I use?
For those who choose a Ground Coffee will get the grind appropriate grind for that coffee. Each coffee is best when ground the way it is best to grind it, and our roaster is well versed in the art of Roasting but also the best grind for that kind. If you really want the best flavored coffee we suggest you grind your own. Purchasing in WHOLE BEAN offers you a distinct flavor advantage and experience over ground coffee. Coffee Releases most of its flavor and odors when it is ground. Grinding your own coffee keeps your coffee full of flavor till the moment you need it.
Do you ship to ______?
First, let me say that we will ship anywhere in the US. We only charge $6.50 for shipping to the ENTIRE US - if you want to save the shipping costs, order more than $50 worth of coffee and we ship it for free. All orders are shipped UPS. Free Pots of coffee are shipped UPS Priority Mail.
SORRY We are selling Coffee to Americans we currently do not ship overseas, though we may add it in the future.
How long will it take for me to get my order?
We roast and fill your orders the same day to ensure freshness. It is then shipped UPS which should mean your coffee will arrive with in a week.
Priority Mail packages should arrive 2-3 days after being shipped.
Is your coffee really Arabica?
We only offer 100% Arabica coffees. These coffees are only of the highest quality available. To top it off our Roaster makes special trips to each place we get our coffee once per year to make sure we are getting the best they offer. Most every coffee we offer has been hand selected and provided by a SINGLE coffee grower or supplier. Our coffee is roasted in small batches, no more than 25 lbs. at a time. The quality and freshness will far exceed any other
Can I order over the phone?
Yes. We understand that even though our site is 100% secure, ordering online is a new experience for many. If you want, we will call you. Serious anywhere in the US or Canada we will call you to get your order. If you like you can go through the shopping process and enter the check out part. Then just copy and paste the contents into an email and send it to us with your phone number and we will call you. Or if you prefer please call us at 1-320-629-1022 if you are not comfortable ordering online. We will be happy to assist. We are available between 8:00am-8:00pm Central Standard Time, Monday-Friday and also on weekends as well. We are coffee drinkers we rarely sleep :-) .
I am having problems ordering online is it my computer or your server?
Most likely it is your webbrowser and cookies for the shopping cart! We try to maintain the best site possible including using Americart for your online order! Occasionally you may experience problems, but this is VERY RARE. If you can not place your order online please email and we will call you or call us at 1-320-629-1022.
If you are experiencing problems with your shopping basket 'not holding your items as you continue to shop' make sure that you are allowing 'cookies' in your browser's security settings.
How safe is ordering online?
It's as close to 100% safe as you can come. We use the very same types of systems that are used by the banks which transfer millions each day. We want you to be assured your safe in our hands. It's interesting how many people worry about ordering online - yet they have no problem handing their card to a employee at a Bar or restaurant. We use not only Americart (known for it's security) but also Authorizenet, and Wells Fargo. These places use the same kind of security measures that ALL BANKS USE to transfer funds from one bank to another. Add to that your information is only transmitted when you click the submit button. When that happens your order is sent in seconds into the secure servers, via Secure Encryption methods which keep it all scrambled up till the processing is completely sent and then decoded. It's blazing fast.

What about specialty Roasted Coffee?
Our Roaster has over 25 years of roasting coffee, and was trained in the European Tradition, he knows how to produce the 'perfect roast' for all of our coffees. That means that every coffee will be roasted right to the point needed to enhance the flavor of the coffee along with its characteristics. Every batch of coffee is roasted by it's own and how long and the kind of roasting is dependant on many factors, all of which our roaster takes into account. You will never get that BURNT flavor of some other coffees you might find on the net or in one of those Mall Coffee Shops.

How are you different from the other coffee sites on the internet?
We are a coffee roastery. That is what we do and what we have done for over 17 years (we started selling coffee in 1987). Long before that Seattle Company came around and put up a coffeeshop on every corner we have been selling coffee, and only the best coffee. We will from time to time be out of a coffee rather than offer an substandard coffee to leave our doors. Simply something we do not tolerate. Our roaster is very picky, his reputation is on the line with every batch that's roasted.
Your coffee is Kosher, what is Kosher?
The term kosher means "clean, fit, or proper as it relates to dietary (kosher) laws."
Kosher products are manufactured in a facility that complies with the dietary and sanitary requirements of Jewish Law, as well as contain kosher certified ingredients.
How is it kosher? Wise kosher products undergo a "kosherization," a special process supervised by a rabbi.
Who keeps kosher? More then 10 million Americans keep kosher including Jews, Muslims, Seventh Day Adventists, vegetarians and people with food related allergies and others who perceive "kosher-certification" as a seal of purity, purchase kosher products for religious and health reasons.
Do you allow customers to specify the roast on their coffee?
