All our coffees come in 12oz, 2lb and 5lb bags. We also offer all of our coffee in 1.5oz Portion Packs and can do custom labeling on them if you wish to use them as gifts. All orders get a FREE POT of coffee Like the great wine grapes of the world, the character and flavor a gourmet coffee bean produces vary with its growing latitude, altitude and harvesting method. Gourmet Coffee purists know what to expect from an African coffee versus a coffee from New Guinea, but you needn't be a purist to enjoy both the pronounced and subtle differences between these great coffees of the world.
We have personally selected the gourmet coffees that we offer for sale. Each bag is inspected several times before the beans make it into the roaster for roasting. They all must meet our strickt standards for quality before we will use a coffee bean. Over the many years we have been in business we have found the finest growers and suppliers who produce the finest coffee and developed a close relationships with them. They know what we expect in our coffee and know that we will not hesitate to return a shipment of coffee if it doesn't meet our standards. We have personally inspected many of the farms where our coffees are grown to make sure that they are using the most earth friendly techniques to produce our gourmet coffees. We look for environmental and bird friendly techniques from our farmers and work with them to produce better coffee and use better practices in producing coffee. We do not just take any coffee and call it a gourmet coffee. It has to pass our tests before it goes to our customers we take great pride in producing year after year the finest of gourmet coffees out there and at prices that are very competitive. Also with each order we will include a FREE sample pot of another kind of coffee for you to try out. - Our 100% Arabica beans are carefully selected and purchased direct from the plantation. We then consistently slow roast the beans, gently smoking them at the end of the roast to bring out the finest nuances of flavor. - All coffees are air cooled and hand packed immediately after roasting to guarantee freshness. - All our coffees are certified Kosher by the Orthodox Union, they are sustainably grown using fair trade principles, shade tree and bird friendly.
