Espresso is a quick coffee brewing method that was conceived and developed using dark roast coffees. The extra time in the oven ruptures the cell structure of the bean, allowing a complete, fast flavor extraction. Our espresso roast is a combination of Colombian and Sumatran coffees and is perfect for producing the thick sweet liquor of espresso.
A very dark roast, but less dark than French Roast. Ebony colored oily beans with sharp flavors of dark roasted nuts, a tangy acidity and medium body, make this a great and sharp espresso. To top it off, this is a Fair Trade Organic coffee.
